Google officially announces October 4 launch event for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro

Yesterday, Apple made the date of its next grand unveiling event official. It will announce the iPhone 15 series on September 12. Today, Google has revealed the date for its next big hardware event. It's done so way sooner than Apple, however, which makes us think it wanted to 'respond' to Apple's announcement in this way. Anyway, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are getting official on October 4.
