Huawei Mate 9 won't be unveiled at company's September event

While we were expecting to see the Mate 8 successor at Huawei's September 1 event, looks like that won't be the case. According to Bruce Lee, a mobile product line manager at the Chinese company, the Mate 9 won't be made official so early - that's in context with the fact that the Mate 8 arrived towards the end of last year. In case you missed, the Mate 9 has already been subject of some rumors, with a recent one suggesting that it will be powered by the homegrown, and yet-to-be-announced Kirin 960 chipset with octa-core CPU, and sport a 20MP dual rear camera setup.
