Alcatel has been rather quiet regarding software updates for its phones. Now though, the Alcatel Idol X+ is getting an update to Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The company will push the over-the-air firmware update tomorrow, August 15, for all existing users of the phone running the latest Jelly Bean update. In our extended review of the phone, we found out it has an amazing display, solid performance and an excellent camera.
