We were disappointed from the battery performance of the Sony’s previous phablet – the Xperia Z Ultra – so we didn’t expect miracles from the T2 Ultra either. We couldn’t have been so wrong.
First, we test the Xperia T2 Ultra in 3G calls. With the enormous screen out of the equation, the Xperia T2 Ultra outed one of the best scores we’ve encountered in the 3G talk time test.

However an important note is due here – when set at 50% brightness the Xperia T2 Ultra display actually drops to far less than half its maximum brightness. It’s just over 100 nits, meaning that if you use the screen at higher brightness settings (i.e. if you are often outdoor) you will probably get far lower scores.
