Sony finally broke the silence and officially revealed the announcement date of its next Xperia smartphones. Not that we had any doubt about Sony releasing its phones at this year's MWC. Anyway, the press invitation says that Sony will announce its new handsets on February 24 at 8:30 CET and there's going to be a livestream too. We are expecting a new Xperia flagship phone supposedly called Xperia 5 Plus and a mid-range device built around the Snapdragon 765 platform. There was also a rumor about a Sony Xperia 3 last month unless the latter is just another name for the Xperia 5...
