HTC posted an operating loss of $138 million in Q3 2015. The troubled Taiwanese manufacturer recorded a small profit during the same period last year. The company's quarterly revenue came in at NT$21.4 billion (about $659 million). A year ago, HTC made NT$41.9 billion in revenue. HTC has seen its sales and profits drop significantly over the past few months due to increased competition in all segments of the smartphone market.
